Calvin McFlair, a Master Barber based in Atlanta, Georgia. Being an Atlanta native Calvin has honed his skills and has flourished in the beauty industry. Calvin McFlair is the CEO and founder of McFlair Quts: Beard & Groom Lounge. He has been cutting hair since the age of 13. At the age of 11 Calvin started in a barbershop as the “Sweep Boy”. Surrounded by so many influential barbers, they would take the time to show Calvin basic techniques to cutting hair. A year later the owner decided to sell the barbershop. He began cutting his own hair at the age of 12 and started practicing on others at the age of 13. At the age of 22, Calvin finally decided to take his skill serious. He attended barber school at Pro-Way Hair School in Stone Mountain, GA. At Pro-Way Calvin was under great supervision with great instructors. Their influence on Calvin’s life was impeccable. While attending barbering school, Calvin hit the biggest hump in the road. Losing his best friend, Joshua Lottie, slowed him down but he came back with so much ambition and drive. Calvin has led his school into winning 1st Place at Bronner Brothers School Hair Competition. He’s orchestrated the opening show for “HD Encore Hair Magazine” Launch Event. Calvin McFlair isn’t just a barber...he’s a barber-stylist. He has styled Karlie-Redd as a student and it started there. McFlair graduated May 7th, 2015. After that day his career continued to blossom with so much momentum. In 2016 McFlair made an appearance on a reality show by the name of “Married To Medicine”. Since then Calvin has worked with a great amount of celebrities ( i.e.- Chad “Ocho Cinco” Johnson , Ryan Jamaal Swain of “Pose” , BlameItonKway as TiTi , etc.) Even with so much notoriety, Calvin treats all his clients as VIP. Just by looking at McFlair’s portfolio its no secret that he enjoys his craft. That being said, Calvin McFlair has been nominated 3x for Atlanta’s Best Barber of The Year Award.
